FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Answers to common questions about the NDIS and getting started with Hope Care.

Am I eligible for NDIS support?

You may be eligible if you're under 65, live in Australia, and have a permanent or significant disability that affects your daily life. We can help you understand the process and get in touch with the NDIS on your behalf.

How do I get started with Hope Care?

Reach out via our contact form or phone. We'll arrange a free consultation to understand your needs and NDIS plan, then match you with the right supports.

Which areas do you service?

We support participants and families across Melbourne and Victoria.

Can I choose my support worker?

Yes. We match you with support workers based on your preferences and needs, and we're always open to adjusting that match if it's not the right fit.

Do you support both plan-managed and self-managed participants?

Yes. We work with NDIA-managed, plan-managed, and self-managed participants, and we'll help you understand what that means for how your supports are booked and paid.

What happens if my support needs change?

Your support plan isn't fixed. If your needs, goals, or circumstances change, let your coordinator know and we'll adjust your supports accordingly, within what your NDIS plan allows.

How much does support cost?

Costs are set against the NDIS Price Guide and drawn from your funded plan, so there are no surprise fees. We'll walk you through exactly what's covered before support starts.

What if I'm not happy with my support worker or service?

Tell us. We take feedback seriously and will work with you to resolve any concerns quickly, whether that means adjusting the support arrangement or changing your support worker.

Do I need a referral to start with Hope Care?

No referral is needed. You can contact us directly, and if you don't yet have an NDIS plan in place, we can help point you toward the right first steps.

How quickly can supports start?

In most cases we can begin the onboarding process within a few days of your initial consultation, depending on your plan and support needs.
